Contract Manager for Procurement (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Act as the focal point for procurement contract matters across specific Space Systems projects and programs.
• Define and implement procurement contractual policies, terms, and conditions.
• Draft, revise, analyze, and negotiate procurement contracts, including confidentiality, collaboration, goods, and services agreements.
• Support calls for tenders by approving contractual baselines, assessing bids, preparing negotiations, and overseeing contract awards.
• Manage contract amendments, claims, settlements, disagreements, and potential disputes throughout the contract lifecycle.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contractual, confidentiality, intellectual property, risk, and compliance matters; develop procurement training and coach stakeholders.

Requirements

• University degree with a legal background and strong contractual knowledge.
• At least 6 years of experience in contract negotiations within sales, procurement, or commercial environments.
• Native German speaker with professional negotiation-level English fluency.
• Strong contract drafting, analytical, communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to balance contractual and business risks and provide pragmatic, business-focused solutions.
• Willingness to obtain national security clearance or possession of an existing security clearance.
