What you will do

• Define and lead the Group's global insurance strategy and placement across aerospace insurance lines.
• Manage relationships with insurers, international brokers, insurance experts, and lawyers.
• Review and enforce insurance requirements in major purchase and supply-chain contracts.
• Optimize financial risk exposure through risk modeling, premium control, and complex claims management.
• Act as the technical expert and decision-maker for unprecedented insurance and contractual issues.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of specialist insurance managers.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of experience in corporate, brokerage, or insurer roles focused on aviation or aerospace insurance and corporate risk management.
• Deep expertise in global insurance markets, including placement, renewals, and claims.
• Strong legal and contractual risk management experience, including negotiation of indemnity and insurance clauses.
• Ability to define and execute global strategies and make accountable decisions in complex, high-stakes situations.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and team leadership skills.
• Negotiation-level English is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of reinsurance captive management and strategic involvement in captive programs.
