Intern - Kite Research - Project Management

Location: Santa Monica, California, United States; hybrid work at the designated site is required and fully remote work is not offered. Relocation may be required.

Salary: $19.00–$55.00 per hour.

Develops engineered cell therapies, including CAR T-cell and T-cell receptor therapies, to advance cancer immunotherapy.

What you will do

• Lead a defined 10–12 week summer project within Research.
• Improve project management practices, operational effectiveness, or team collaboration.
• Partner with Research and supporting-function stakeholders to gather information and identify improvement opportunities.
• Organize process and project information into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Create reports, meeting minutes, dashboards, knowledge resources, process maps, and other project deliverables.
• Track execution, identify risks, communicate with stakeholders, and present the completed work in a final PowerPoint presentation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old at the start of the internship.
• Must be enrolled full-time in a bachelor's, master's, MBA, JD, or PhD program at an accredited U.S. college or university and remain enrolled full-time in the following fall semester.
• Must be an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• Must independently hold authorization to work in the United States now and in the future without school or employer sponsorship.
• Must commit to a full-time internship lasting 10–12 consecutive weeks between May and August and work at the designated site.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, collaboration, communication, and prioritization skills are required.

Nice to have

• Undergraduate, graduate, PhD, or PharmD education.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
