Associate Director, Private Markets

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of fund administration professionals.
• Oversee daily operations and service delivery for hedge funds, private equity funds, and real estate funds.
• Manage key client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for client needs and concerns.
• Review and approve complex financial statements, investor reports, and fund-related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and client service-level agreements.
• Drive operational improvements, support client onboarding and due diligence, and present management updates to senior leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in fund administration, with a strong focus on alternative investments.
• Experience managing and leading teams in a financial services environment.
• Knowledge of fund structures, financial instruments, accounting principles, IFRS, and US GAAP.
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks including SFC, MAS, and Cayman Islands Monetary Authority requirements.
• Proficiency with fund accounting software such as Geneva or Advent Partner, Microsoft Office, and Excel; strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA.
