Senior Golang Engineer - DevOps Enablement (all genders)

Location: Hamburg, Germany

Salary: €70,000–€85,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship internal services and developer tooling in Go.
• Deploy and operate services, maintain Helm charts, and work with Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage service infrastructure with Terraform.
• Take ownership of on-call responsibilities for the services you build.
• Improve existing internal services, integrations, and tooling.
• Collaborate with development teams as users of the internal platform.

Requirements

• Strong, current expertise in Go.
• Experience building complex backend services and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience managing infrastructure with Terraform.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL and key-value stores such as Redis.
• Advanced AI fluency, including applying AI to complex problem solving, using retrieval-augmented generation, and evaluating model or approach ROI.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and GitLab CI.
• Experience building internal developer tooling.
