L2 Network Engineer (Cisco)

What you will do

• Deliver network and security projects across Cisco Meraki and Catalyst environments.
• Design, implement, configure, and support routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and security solutions.
• Monitor support queues, troubleshoot customer environments, and manage incidents through resolution.
• Communicate with customers and build trusted relationships through clear, professional support.
• Improve documentation, troubleshooting guides, and operational standards.
• Contribute to automation and AI-assisted workflows, including API integrations and tooling.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in network engineering or network support.
• Previous experience working in an Australian MSP environment.
• Strong knowledge of routing and switching, wireless, SD-WAN, and security technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki and Catalyst solutions.
• CCNA certification.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage technical issues, and communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders.

Nice to have

• CCNP, Cisco DevNet Associate, or other relevant certifications.
• Experience with Python, Ansible, REST APIs, Terraform, or Git for network automation.
• Exposure to AI tools, voice networking, infrastructure as code, and automation-first operations.
