Network Engineer (Low-Latency Trading Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Design, support, monitor, and troubleshoot high-performance, low-latency networks across co-location facilities, data centers, and offices.
• Work with routing, switching, multicast, security, and high-performance computing technologies.
• Perform network moves, additions, changes, market connectivity tests, and circuit migrations.
• Optimize network infrastructure and support data center and infrastructure migration projects.
• Coordinate with telecommunications carriers, exchanges, and other external providers.
• Participate in on-call rotations and weekend maintenance work.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with complex, high-performance networks in financial, enterprise, or service provider environments.
• Experience with client-server architecture, network design, and network topology documentation.
• Experience with Arista EOS, Cisco IOS, Nexus-OS, and PAN-OS.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, PIM, and MSDP, including implementation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with MRTG, Graphite, Grafana, Nagios, SNMP-based tools, Python scripting, IPSec, GRE, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Unix/Linux administration.
