Settlement Officer (Australian Mortgages)

Location: Remote from Metro Manila, Philippines; working hours aligned with Australian hours.

Salary: PHP 70,000–85,000 per month.

What you will do

• Coordinate loan settlements from unconditional approval through funding and post-settlement filing.
• Liaise with banks, solicitors, and conveyancers to execute documentation and meet deadlines.
• Review loan offers and mortgage documents for accuracy and compliance with Australian lending requirements.
• Keep clients informed about settlement progress and resolve concerns clearly and proactively.
• Identify missing documentation and funding discrepancies, maintain CRM pipeline records, and complete post-settlement compliance and commission tracking.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in settlements or loan processing within the Australian mortgage industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Australian mortgage lifecycle, including PEXA, lenders’ portals, first-home-buyer, construction, SMSF, and refinancing loans.
• Familiarity with Australian credit legislation and privacy requirements.
• Experience with industry-standard CRM tools and mortgage processing platforms.
• Availability to work full-time hours aligned with Australian hours.
