Funder (Mortgage Funding)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in one of hirify.global’s states of operation. Select roles may require onsite work at the Palo Alto, California office one day per week.

Salary: $49,400–$58,800 annual base salary, depending on market tier, skills, experience, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Review and quality-check scanned and digital signed closing documents before funding.
• Confirm that documents are properly executed, legible, complete, and that all closing conditions are satisfied.
• Coordinate with title companies and internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and funding delays.
• Verify wire amounts and submit wire requests according to company procedures.
• Close and finalize assigned funding records in the internal production system after disbursement.
• Respond to funding-related inquiries from internal and external partners.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of mortgage funding experience.
• Strong knowledge of real estate documents and escrow processes.
• Experience communicating with title companies, counties, and other parties involved in recording.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and familiarity with Salesforce or another CRM.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, prioritization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must reside in one of hirify.global’s states of operation in the United States.
