Senior Software Developer – Platform & Infrastructure Engineering (All Genders)

Location: Remote within Germany; hybrid or fully onsite work is also possible near one of the company’s locations.

hirify.global develops and operates infrastructure products and is creating a new product line for customers and internal teams.

What you will do

• Build the business logic for the new product line, including authentication, accounts, projects, and feature flags.
• Expose infrastructure primitives such as virtual servers, storage, and networking through stable APIs.
• Make design, code, and infrastructure decisions in a greenfield environment.
• Enable internal teams to build managed services and other products on top of the platform.
• Participate in on-call rotations and improve system redundancy and production reliability.

Requirements

• Production experience with at least one modern backend language: Go, Python, Java, or Rust.
• Experience designing and building APIs for infrastructure consumption.
• Familiarity with IaaS provisioning stacks such as OpenStack, KubeVirt, QEMU, libvirt, Ceph, or LVM.
• Production experience with Kubernetes or comparable orchestration, virtualization platforms, and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure operations, on-call work, and production incident response.
• Fluent English required; German is nice to have. Ten or more years of combined experience is a plus.

• Additional experience across both backend engineering and infrastructure.
