Global Close Coordination Analyst (Finance)

Location: Taguig City, National Capital Region, Philippines; hybrid setup with onsite reporting as required. Night shift or shifting schedules may be required to support global assignments across the Americas.

What you will do

• Coordinate and monitor monthly and quarterly account-to-report close activities and closing checklists.
• Open and close financial periods in the general ledger system and support resolution of system-related issues.
• Generate journal entry reports, track approvals, and monitor balance sheet account reconciliation completeness.
• Perform monthly interface reconciliations from source to target and maintain accurate documentation, audit trails, and control evidence.
• Support audits, account risk analysis, journal entry threshold calculations, and compliance with SOX controls and service-level commitments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, technology partners, compliance teams, and regional teams while supporting process improvement, automation, and data quality initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of professional experience in accounting, finance operations, account-to-report, general ledger, reconciliation, audit, shared services, or related finance work; strong fresh graduates may be considered.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and close activities.
• Ability to review financial data, perform basic variance checks, follow procedures, escalate exceptions, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, accuracy, and deadline-management skills.
• Willingness to work night shifts or shifting schedules and report onsite as required in Taguig City, Philippines.

Nice to have

• Experience in a multinational shared service center or BPO.
• Exposure to SAP, BlackLine, Cadency, or other ERP and reporting tools.
• CPA, CMA, MBA, or another relevant finance certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft applications.
• Interest in digital tools, automation, reporting, process improvement, and data quality.
