Fixed Assets Accountant

What you will do

• Record fixed assets based on approved CAPEX investment budgets, cost centers, and asset classifications.
• Align purchase price allocation adjustments with US GAAP push-down entries.
• Record depreciation consistently under US GAAP and local GAAP.
• Support and record fixed-asset transfers accurately and on time across operations in Manila, Japan, and China.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on fixed-assets accounting activities.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Accountancy or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of fixed-assets accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• SAP ECC6 experience with the fixed-assets module is required.
• Strong knowledge of Property, Plant and Equipment accounting under US GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency in Excel and other automation programs.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, resourcefulness, and sense of urgency.
