Shift Team Lead (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Ningbo, Zhejiang, China; onsite shift work

What you will do

• Lead shift operations for blending, zinc reaction, filling, and related production activities.
• Monitor process variables, batch delays, plant availability, and distributed control system operations.
• Coordinate with laboratory, quality control, supply chain, planning, and maintenance teams to optimize manufacturing resources.
• Supervise operating technicians and contractors, including manpower allocation, performance coaching, qualification, and training.
• Implement Conduct of Operations, OEMS, HES, and process safety requirements, including incident reviews, audits, and equipment safety checks.
• Support new projects, commissioning, test runs, field testing, stock taking, and maintenance of operating manuals and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Five or more years of relevant experience in the refinery, petrochemical, or chemical industry.
• Five or more years of progressive responsibility and leadership in operations.
• Strong people management, leadership, interpersonal, investigation, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of process-safe work practices and experience conducting JSA, PHA, and PSSR.
• Willingness to work shifts according to business needs, with working hours adjusted accordingly.
