Tech Service Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Investigate and resolve performance and quality complaints using the 8D methodology and prepare working reports.
• Generate and evaluate customer specifications together with R&D, ensuring plant capabilities and resources can meet them.
• Support RC14001, IATF 16949, and ISO 9001 implementation and maintenance where applicable.
• Provide technical service to customers and distributors, negotiate specification changes, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate safe launches for new production facilities, equipment, and instruments with plant teams.
• Complete product and process development within customer PPAP requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of technical experience in quality and technical service within chemical manufacturing.
• Knowledge of quality assurance methods including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and 8D problem solving.
• Knowledge of laboratory practices and ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or VDA 6.3 standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Fluent English communication skills in both spoken and written forms.

Nice to have

• Japanese or Korean language skills.
• Experience with lithium-ion batteries.
