Process Technology & Engineering Manager (TPU)

Location: Jinshan, Shanghai, China

What you will do

• Establish, standardize, and optimize production process technology systems and SOPs for TPU manufacturing.
• Lead engineering projects from initial planning and design through bidding, procurement, construction, commissioning, and acceptance.
• Resolve production bottlenecks, reduce defects and material waste, improve energy efficiency, and support production capacity targets.
• Coordinate process changes and new process introductions with production, quality, R&D, and other departments.
• Manage and develop the process technology and engineering team, including responsibilities, performance goals, and training programs.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, EHS, process safety, quality, and company standards.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Chemical Engineering or Polymer Engineering.
• At least 8 years of technical experience in the polymer manufacturing industry.
• Management experience across production and engineering functions.
• Expertise in twin-screw extruder engineering, extrusion quality control, TPU manufacturing, polyester processes, and new-line commissioning and trial production.
• Experience with MOC, troubleshooting, and root-cause investigations related to EHS, process safety, and quality.
• Good written and oral Mandarin and working knowledge of English are required.

Nice to have

• Experience using statistical analysis or SPC tools, including Six Sigma methods.
• Strong presentation skills for internal business meetings and external customer meetings.
