Location: Knoxville, Tennessee, United States; onsite with an option for hybrid work

Salary: $39,000–$43,000 per year

What you will do

  • Coordinate master's and doctoral admissions, including applicant communications, faculty reviews, interviews, and admission decisions.
  • Coordinate comprehensive and national examinations, including CPCE and early NCE administrations, and arrange exam locations and proctors.
  • Support accreditation compliance through student assessment, program evaluation, reporting, recordkeeping, and monitoring of student progress.
  • Coordinate student registration, class schedules, graduation materials, liability insurance records, and student files.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to eight faculty members across three graduate programs and one graduate certificate program.
  • Manage departmental operations, events, correspondence, procurement, supplies, reports, and academic information systems.

Requirements

  • High school education and at least four years of related experience.
  • Strong communication, data extraction and analysis, organization, prioritization, and compliance skills.
  • Proficiency with common office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn new systems.
  • Experience working independently and maintaining effective relationships with faculty, students, coworkers, and the public.
  • Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Associate's degree.
  • Certified Professional Secretary or Administrator qualification.
  • Knowledge of Banner, Nolij, Argos, ADMIT, or University of Tennessee systems and processes.
