VTPS Lead (Lean Manufacturing)

Location: On-site in Buffalo, New York, United States; regular global travel is required.

Salary: $89,590–$111,990 annually, plus annual variable compensation bonus.

What you will do

• Plan, create, maintain, and deploy the Vacuum Technique Production System across the PC Genesee operational area.
• Develop roadmaps, implementation plans, and execution strategies for manufacturing transformation.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve efficiency, effectiveness, control, and world-class manufacturing performance.
• Deliver measurable VTPS cost savings through targeted business transformation projects.
• Coach teams in Lean methods including value stream mapping, Kaizen, 6S, standard work, line and cell design, single-piece flow, material flow, visual management, and root-cause problem solving.
• Develop training programs, improve end-to-end value streams, and support safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related engineering or science discipline.
• At least 10 years of post-qualification experience, including 5 years in operational excellence or production and 2 years in manufacturing project planning or product and process introduction.
• International operating experience and a recognized operational excellence qualification such as Six Sigma, Lean, or Shingo.
• Ability to operate at senior, Director, and executive leadership levels with strong communication, organizational awareness, and influencing skills.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality and production systems, manufacturing engineering, production layout, HVAC, and electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship or takeover of existing employment visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern IT structures and processes.
