Mechanical Engineer (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Support the design, analysis, fabrication, and integration of mission-critical flight hardware.
• Develop mechanical components and systems including composite tanks, separation mechanisms, and actuators.
• Create CAD models, perform basic analysis, and collaborate with technicians and engineering leads during hardware integration and testing.
• Participate in four-week subsystem prototype cycles, design reviews, and rapid iteration based on test data.
• Prepare travelers, build notes, quality documentation, and other records across the product lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other hardware-focused industries is preferred.
• Mechanical CAD experience with SolidWorks, NX, or a similar tool.
• Understanding of statics, dynamics, and thermal principles.
• Hands-on ownership, attention to part numbers, materials, tolerances, and technical documentation.
• Access to export-controlled information may require compliance with U.S. Government eligibility, authorization, citizenship, or security-clearance requirements, when applicable.
