Senior Data Analyst - Workforce Planning

Location: Richmond, VIC, Australia; Sydney or Melbourne based. The role includes travel to venues to understand operational realities.

What you will do

• Deliver demand-based workforce planning across a large hospitality network.
• Analyze historical sales and labour performance to identify productivity gaps and optimization opportunities.
• Build venue segmentation frameworks, labour productivity benchmarks and demand-forecasting models.
• Support discovery of advanced workforce planning and enterprise rostering tools through labour modelling and data analysis.
• Translate complex findings into actionable insights for Publicans and Area Managers.
• Help Finance estimate and track economic and process benefits after implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics or a related quantitative field.
• At least five years of hands-on experience.
• Experience in workforce management and familiarity with enterprise scheduling software such as UKG.
• Proficiency with GCP, dbt, SQL and Tableau.
• Experience building predictive forecasting models and applying advanced analytics, including AI.
• Willingness and ability to travel to venues; hospitality operations experience is highly regarded.
