S&OP Analyst (Supply Chain Planning): Coordinating end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning and developing demand forecasts for a consumer goods business with an accent on statistical forecasting, forecast performance, and cross-functional alignment. Focus on analyzing forecasting errors, building planning dashboards, and translating complex datasets into actionable business recommendations.
Location: Tlalnepantla de Baz, Mexico; onsite

What you will do
- Coordinate the end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning process and facilitate demand, supply, and alignment meetings.
- Develop annual and fiscal-year demand forecasts using statistical methods, commercial inputs, market insights, promotions, innovation, and growth initiatives.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, identify root causes of errors, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze large datasets, maintain forecasting databases and planning systems, and create dashboards and reports.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support scenario planning and business reviews.
- Communicate forecast risks, opportunities, and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning, S&OP, or related functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including knowledge of forecasting methodologies and demand planning principles.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
- Intermediate English proficiency required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access or similar database tools.
- Experience in consumer goods, manufacturing, retail, or supply chain environments.
- Understanding of forecast accuracy, bias, and planning KPI management.
