IT Operations Engineer - Onsite Mt. Laurel NJ - 1st Shift (Network Operations)

Location: Onsite in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, United States; Wednesday through Sunday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, including weekends and holidays.

What you will do

• Monitor network reliability and performance using SolarWinds, DataDog, and related tools.
• Lead network incident resolution, meet SLAs, and escalate issues when required.
• Implement and support secure networking across on-premise data centers and cloud environments.
• Create and maintain network topology maps, procedures, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Provide game-day operational support for a major professional sports league, including holiday coverage.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Cisco Nexus, Arista, Meraki switches, Cisco Wireless Controllers, Windows, Linux, and Unix.
• Experience using ServiceNow, firewalls, routing protocols, and network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting, plus strong problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in complex, multisite environments.
• Ability to work onsite Wednesday through Sunday, including weekends and major holidays when games are played.

Nice to have

• CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, or relevant server and cloud certifications.
• Data center network troubleshooting with Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki, or Arista.
• Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting for server and cloud operations.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Microsoft 365 networking, SIEM platforms, endpoint protection, video streaming, or CDNs.
