Network Engineer 2

Location: Hermitage, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite at 4140 East State Street

What you will do

• Provide advanced network support and resolve complex network and application issues.
• Purchase, install, configure, and support LAN/WAN communications systems.
• Manage routing, switching, IP schemes, load balancers, VoIP, wireless networks, firewalls, and related reporting tools.
• Lead infrastructure, patching, and other complex strategic technology projects.
• Trace and resolve security issues, address vulnerabilities, and coordinate patching schedules.
• Collaborate with Technology teams, the Project Management Office, lines of business, vendors, and external support personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of job-related experience, including 3 years in IT/Datacom or network infrastructure.
• Excellent knowledge of network hardware, software technology, end-user devices, network functionality, protocols, analysis, and architecture.
• CCNA and CCNP certifications from Cisco, plus management-approved certifications such as firewall certification.
• Strong customer service, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment-based visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud network services such as API gateways, VPCs, Direct Connect, Route 53, and ExpressRoute.
• Experience with enterprise observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog or Netcool.
• Scripting and infrastructure-as-code experience with Python, Ansible, or Terraform.
