Advanced Equipment Maintenance & Preventative Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Batu Kawan, Penang, Malaysia; onsite at the Seberang Perai office

Develops and manufactures Flash memory and advanced memory technology solutions for global data infrastructure and supply chains.

What you will do

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in backend production equipment.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment using schematics, manuals, and specifications.
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, diagnostic testing, and root-cause analysis.
• Support manufacturing operations in a rapidly changing, high-volume environment.
• Work with Engineering on new equipment installations and improvement initiatives.
• Develop maintenance procedures and provide training and mentorship to other technicians.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, or Mechatronics.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and PC hardware or software issues.
• Ability to use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair.
• Understanding of PLC systems and ability to use diagnostic equipment.
• Independent, methodical approach to troubleshooting, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Reliable onsite attendance aligned with the company work schedule is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with vision systems.
• Knowledge of Auto VMI, Auto Labeling, and Auto Packing equipment or processes.
