Test Technician (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Respond to tester breakdowns and equipment issues to minimize production downtime.
• Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and qualify tester hardware and software.
• Support Memory New Product Introduction activities, product qualification, and production readiness.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting of tester and product issues, escalating complex problems to engineering teams.
• Manage spare parts, maintenance records, downtime reports, shift handovers, and equipment audits.
• Assist with equipment enhancements, testing methodologies, process improvements, and engineering changes.

Requirements

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, electronics testing, semiconductor operations, or automated test equipment maintenance is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of electronics troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, preventive maintenance, and electrical or electronic measurement instruments.
• Basic PC hardware and software installation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, networking concepts, or Automated Test Equipment is advantageous.

Nice to have

• Experience in semiconductor or high-volume electronics manufacturing.
• Experience with Automated Test Equipment.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems and networking concepts.
