Area Manager - Quality Assurance/Systems (Grocery)

Location: Onsite at 1065 Fort Prince Blvd, Wellford, South Carolina 29385-9756, United States

Salary: $65,500–$98,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and possible regional pay zone and stock compensation.

What you will do

• Implement business plans by setting goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads.
• Monitor productivity, prepare and analyze business reports, and maintain quality and safety standards.
• Manage QA guidelines and programs, inventory integrity, slot profiling, inventory adjustments, cycle inventory tests, damages, stray products, close-date products, and hazardous materials processing.
• Supervise, develop, coach, and evaluate associates and leaders, including supporting hiring and identifying training needs.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, repair, inventory, and ordering of systems hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot systems and applications in collaboration with Information Systems Division and vendors.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field plus one year of supervisory experience, or a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Alternatively, two years of Walmart logistics experience or two years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to manage logistics operations, quality and safety procedures, staffing, scheduling, and associate performance.
• Ability to analyze business reports and resolve associate, customer, supplier, systems, and application issues.
• Must work at the Wellford, South Carolina facility in the United States.

Nice to have

• Inventory management experience.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience supervising associates or working as a Walmart Logistics Manager.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Logistics.
