Equipment Maintenance & Preventative Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

Location: Batu Kawan, Malaysia; onsite at the Penang SDSM Office

What you will do

• Maintain production machine performance and troubleshoot assigned equipment.
• Support process and equipment engineers with new device evaluations and engineering runs.
• Complete maintenance, repair, and conversion activities while following 6S practices.
• Maintain machine status reports, passover communication, and daily operational updates.
• Handle waste and chemicals according to environmental procedures, including proper storage, labeling, and scrapping.
• Escalate activities that may conflict with environmental policy and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and maintain reliable attendance.
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and communicate effectively.
• Familiarity with computer systems and computer networks.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Experience with Die Attach machines, Die Sort equipment, ovens, and tooling maintenance.
