(Associate) Manager Energy & Transport

Location: Maastricht, Netherlands. Work may take place from home, at client locations, or from the offices in Amsterdam or Rotterdam.

What you will do

• Lead transformation strategies and implementation initiatives for energy and transport clients.
• Develop innovative strategies and comprehensive transformation roadmaps aligned with client objectives.
• Manage both commercial and delivery responsibilities to achieve targeted outcomes.
• Monitor developments and disruptions across the energy and transport sectors and turn insights into client recommendations and training programs.
• Build, manage, and mentor consultants in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and 5–7 years of experience in a consultancy firm.
• Background in strategic analysis, strategy development, and/or organizational transformation.
• Network among relevant transport and/or energy companies and a strong understanding of market developments and value chains.
• Ability to sell and deliver innovative strategy consulting engagements.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics, with the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas.
• Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills are required; non-Dutch speakers will not be accepted. German is an advantage.
