Localization Specialist (Gaming)

Location: Tokyo, Japan; remote work with occasional office meetings. Candidates must currently be in Japan and have a valid Japanese work permit.

Salary: 448,000 JPY per month.

hirify.global is recruiting for a localization role supporting the overseas marketing department of a well-known entertainment game developer.

What you will do

• Translate and localize marketing content for SNS, app platforms, websites, and videos.
• Acquire video and image materials for promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate content releases with the marketing team.
• Coordinate subcontractors on deliveries, quality control, and corrections.
• Prepare required documents and maintain system entries.

Requirements

• Currently based in Japan with a valid Japanese work permit.
• At least 3 years of translation or localization experience.
• Experience in marketing localization or the game industry is preferred.
• Business-level Japanese and native-level English.
