Systems Engineer Quality Responsible A400M Program (Aerospace)

Develops and supports defence and space systems, including military air systems and transport and mission aircraft.

What you will do

• Plan and execute end-to-end engineering quality activities, including process assurance plans, technical reviews, quality gates, and functional configuration audits.
• Deploy APQP, DFMEA, PPS, root cause analysis, 5 Whys, and first installation checks across development programs.
• Coordinate with Chief Engineering, Production, Services, external auditors, customers, and government national quality representatives.
• Manage non-conformities and quality anomalies, track KPIs, and drive corrective actions for right-first-time design deliverables.
• Support the Business Management System and audits, ensuring compliance with EN9100 and maintaining engineering processes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, risk management, and lessons-learned sharing across the organization.

Requirements

• Grade, degree, or master’s degree in Systems, Aeronautical, Industrial, or related engineering.
• At least one year of engineering experience, including experience in a design organization.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Advanced written and spoken Spanish.
• Knowledge of systems engineering, quality management systems, EN9100, APQP, FMEA, root cause analysis, PPS, 5 Whys, and Process Assurance Review methodologies.
• Adaptability, strong communication skills, customer orientation, and a continuous improvement mindset.
