Senior Manager Energy & Industry (AI)

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands. Hybrid work is available from home, client sites, or the Amsterdam office.

What you will do

• Guide energy and utilities companies through changes in energy generation, transportation, distribution, customer behavior, and business models.
• Lead consulting projects such as market entry studies, operational improvement, investment decision-making, regulatory compliance, outsourcing, and vendor selection.
• Manage project delivery with consultants and client representatives.
• Coach and mentor consultants while managing teams.
• Support business development, sales activities, and the growth of energy-sector offerings.
• Monitor energy-market and company trends and initiate actions to adapt consulting services.

Requirements

• Master’s degree.
• At least 8 years of consulting experience in the utilities industry and an established network in relevant energy companies.
• Strong understanding of energy-market developments and their impact across the value chain.
• Interest in data and AI-related topics, with the ability to quickly build expertise in these areas.
• Strong team-management, entrepreneurial, flexible, and self-starting skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Dutch are required; non-Dutch speakers will not be accepted.
