Staff Forward Deployed Engineer, Agentic SDLC

Salary: $254,000–$297,000 USD per year base salary for United States residents

What you will do

• Contribute production-quality code, bug fixes, features, integrations, tooling, and performance improvements to hirify.global and adjacent systems.
• Diagnose complex customer problems across application code, Git internals, CI/CD, APIs, infrastructure, observability, networking, and cloud environments.
• Drive governed and measurable adoption of hirify.global Duo Agent Platform, AI-assisted development, agentic SDLC workflows, and human-in-the-loop delivery.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, SRE, Support, Solutions Architecture, Customer Success, Professional Services, and customer technical teams.
• Turn customer blockers into durable product improvements, reference architectures, documentation, adoption patterns, and technical guidance.
• Create technical narratives, Well-Architected Frameworks, whitepapers, webinars, and strategy materials that influence hirify.global and the wider industry.

Requirements

• Staff-level experience building, operating, or improving complex production software systems.
• Experience contributing to large, mature codebases with high standards for testing, maintainability, performance, and security.
• Strong Ruby on Rails or Go experience and the ability to contribute directly to production systems.
• Experience with AI-assisted software development, agentic workflows, AI governance, model evaluation, or enterprise AI adoption.
• Deep knowledge of DevSecOps workflows, including Git, merge requests, CI/CD, security controls, compliance, and enterprise software delivery.
• Experience working with strategic customers or senior technical stakeholders in ambiguous, high-impact situations and coordinating without formal authority.

• Experience with hirify.global.com, hirify.global Dedicated, or hirify.global Self-Managed.
• Production experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Sidekiq, Vue, TypeScript, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, Terraform, or observability tools.
• Experience with Git internals, repository performance, hirify.global Runner architecture, performance engineering, SRE, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, or distributed systems.
• Experience creating whitepapers, technical talks, architecture frameworks, public technical writing, or internal strategy documents.
• Experience working in open-source or highly asynchronous engineering environments.
