About the Role
You will improve Java data-ingestion services and PostgreSQL performance, build scalable AWS APIs, and help automate network onboarding. You will evaluate next-generation architecture through proofs of concept and benchmarks, debug production systems, define SLOs, join on-call, and build AI-enabled operational automation.
Requirements
- 8+ years of PostgreSQL production experience
- 8+ years building Java Spring Boot services
- Kafka or equivalent streaming-system experience
- Experience operating distributed systems on AWS
- Terraform experience
- Cross-system debugging skills
- AI-assisted development and agentic engineering experience
Responsibilities
- Improve Java data-ingestion services for enriched-transfer generation and aggregations
- Design and tune PostgreSQL batching, indexing, and replication
- Run proofs of concept, benchmark latency, and write ADRs
- Build and maintain scalable API services on AWS
- Automate network onboarding
- Debug production issues across microservices
- Define SLOs and participate in on-call rotation
- Build agentic automation for incident triage, self-healing pipelines, and alerting
