Finance Business Analyst - Technical Acc

Location: London – Television Centre, United Kingdom; onsite role

Salary: Up to £55,000 plus £5,441 London Weighting, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience.

What you will do

• Prepare subsidiary statutory financial statements across the hirify.global Studios Group.
• Provide guidance on technical accounting queries, complex transactions and commercial decisions.
• Review month-end, quarterly and year-end results, reconciliations and balance sheet positions.
• Support group reporting, year-end submissions, external reporting and audit processes.
• Monitor foreign exchange exposure, hedging activity and related reporting.
• Deliver accounting guidance and training while maintaining accounting policies, processes and controls.

Requirements

• Professionally qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge covering IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Experience preparing, reviewing or analyzing statutory financial statements and disclosures.
• Strong understanding of consolidation in a multi-entity or international group environment.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Employment screening includes reference and eligibility-to-work checks.

Nice to have

• Technical accounting experience in a large, complex organization.
• Knowledge of foreign exchange accounting, treasury or hedging arrangements.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, BPC, Workiva or similar finance systems.
• Experience supporting external auditors and year-end audits.
• Experience or interest in media, broadcast, production or television.
