Software Engineer - Connectors (Apache Kafka)

Location: Hybrid role based in Malmö, Sweden

hirify.global develops a graph intelligence platform and graph database for connecting data, powering analytics, and supporting intelligent applications and AI systems.

What you will do

• Design and architect connectors for the hirify.global database.
• Build and maintain connectors for cloud and on-premise technologies.
• Design streaming and data ingestion APIs that improve hirify.global performance and usability.
• Collaborate across teams to enhance core database features.
• Occasionally build frontends for connectors and integrations requiring user interaction.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing production-level software.
• Experience designing multithreaded systems and algorithms.
• Hands-on backend programming experience with Kotlin, Java, or Go.
• Experience with distributed event streaming, data processing, analytics platforms, or cloud data warehouses.
• Relevant technologies may include Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Apache Beam, AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, and Azure Synapse.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global or other SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
