Senior Java Developer (Cards)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
• Design REST APIs and integrations using JSON, XML, SOAP, and reusable integration services.
• Implement synchronous, asynchronous, and event-driven interactions with Apache Kafka or equivalent platforms.
• Build authentication, authorization, automated tests, and observability capabilities.
• Containerize applications and support delivery through Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
• Develop card-processing integrations, including card issuance, authorization, acquiring, tokenization, and transaction-processing flows.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on backend development experience with Java.
• At least 3 years of experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and system integrations.
• At least 2 years of experience with Oracle Database, SQL, messaging or event-driven solutions, and Docker with Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• At least 3 years of experience integrating card-processing or card-management systems.
• At least 2 years of experience with card issuing, acquiring, authorization, or transaction-processing platforms.
• Proven experience integrating Visa and/or Mastercard services and working on card lifecycle processes.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, financial services, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience with PL/SQL and enterprise access-management solutions.
