Regulatory Analyst (RegTech)

Location: London, UK; hybrid work with 3 office days per week during the first 6 months and at least 2 office days per week thereafter.

Salary: £60,000–£65,000 per year.

What you will do

• Analyse financial regulations and translate complex requirements into the company's domain-specific rule language.
• Own regulatory changes and rule updates from analysis through implementation, testing, and release.
• Interpret ambiguous requirements, identify risks, and escalate particularly complex or novel issues when appropriate.
• Investigate client queries about regulatory interpretation and rule logic, working with Client Services to provide clear answers.
• Research regulatory requirements with the legal information provider and collaborate with Product and Engineering on service enhancements.
• Improve team standards and best practices for regulatory analysis, coding, testing, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Experience in regulatory, compliance, legal, technical, quantitative, or business analysis, ideally in financial services or RegTech.
• Experience interpreting complex requirements or regulations and turning them into clear, practical outputs.
• Good knowledge of financial instruments such as equities, bonds, and derivatives.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, manage ambiguity, and escalate issues when additional expertise is needed.
• Permission to work in the UK without visa sponsorship is required.
