London Trader Summer Internship 2027 (Options Trading)

What you will do

• Build practical trading skills in a simulation environment using real market scenarios.
• Use traders’ tools, develop your own tools where appropriate, and observe trades executed in the live market.
• Shadow traders across different desks and learn about their day-to-day decision-making.
• Complete independent project work during a dedicated Reading Week.
• Progress through a structured nine-week internship from 21 June to 20 August 2027.

Requirements

• Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom at the time of application.
• Must be a penultimate-year undergraduate or master’s student.
• Strong numeracy skills and a good understanding of probability and statistics.
• Genuine interest in financial markets and curiosity to learn; prior options knowledge is not required.
• Ability to analyze complex information, make decisions under uncertainty, take initiative, and collaborate effectively.
• Willingness to adopt and use emerging AI technologies.
