HSE Lifting Specialist (f/m/d) (DE)

What you will do

• Author and implement internal operational control documents and standards for offshore lifting activities.
• Review lifting documentation and provide HSE expertise to offshore lifting teams and lifting engineers.
• Track lifting-related incidents, support investigations, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
• Help develop training programs and competency frameworks for site-based lifting personnel.
• Support Sales and Procurement with lifting-related HSE questions and promote a strong safety culture.
• Participate in international safety committees and monitor industry best practices.

Requirements

• Recognised health and safety qualification, such as the NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent.
• Recognised lifting operations certification, such as CPCS A61, LEEA AP, NCCCO Lift Director, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of lifting legislation, standards, procedures, and equipment requirements.
• Experience with lifting equipment maintenance, inspection, thorough examination, incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective measures.
• Experience providing technical governance in safety-critical environments, with strong communication and influencing skills.
• High ethical standards and a proactive approach to challenging unethical behaviour.
