Maintenance Mechanic (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop and perform planned and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment while keeping maintenance records accurate and up to date.
• Train maintenance staff in machines, auxiliary equipment, and automation to build cross-functional expertise.
• Develop standard work and support continuous improvement of departmental efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis for unplanned downtime and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Create and update equipment technical specifications with the engineering team and provide detailed equipment-status reports.
• Ensure tools, parts, and work instructions are available for predicted and preventive repairs while following HSE, quality, and Lean standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a maintenance or related technical role.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and automation systems.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement practices.
• PLC programming and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to learn new technical processes.
• Basic mathematics, logical reasoning, accuracy, attention to detail, time management, and flexibility.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts reliably and perform repetitive tasks with strong hand-eye coordination.
