EHS Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at a manufacturing site in Dammam, Saudi Arabia

What you will do

• Lead and continuously improve the site EHS Management System in line with company standards and legal requirements.
• Serve as the primary site leader for environmental, occupational health and safety, and process safety matters.
• Lead PHAs, risk assessments, hazard identification, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action closure.
• Manage process safety programs including MOC, PSSR, safe work practices, and contractor safety.
• Oversee Permit to Work, LOTO, confined space entry, work at height, and chemical handling controls.
• Monitor environmental performance, deliver EHS training, and report key risks and performance updates to site leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
• 5–10 years of hands-on EHS experience in chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas, or other high-hazard manufacturing environments.
• Fluent English required; Arabic language skills are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EHS, process safety, risk management, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and independent EHS leadership.
• OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH, or an equivalent internationally recognized EHS certification.

Nice to have

• Experience with PHA, MOC, and PSM.
• Saudi Arabian nationality.
• Arabic language skills.
