Field Service Engineer

Location: Dammam, Ash Sharqiyah, Saudi Arabia; extensive travel of approximately 80% across Saudi Arabia and internationally, including demanding outage schedules and shifts.

What you will do

• Support maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, commissioning, repairs, assembly, and disassembly for gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems.
• Supervise and coordinate small to medium-sized field service teams, technicians, and subcontractors during outage and maintenance projects.
• Collaborate with site leads, service engineering teams, and customers to deliver safe and efficient projects.
• Review technical documentation, participate in customer meetings, prepare service reports, and provide technical recommendations and project updates.
• Support outage planning, resource allocation, risk mitigation, spare-parts planning, and tooling requirements while maintaining quality and EHS compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in field service, power generation, heavy industry, or rotating equipment environments.
• Basic knowledge of power plant operations and turbine and generator auxiliary systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and technical-reporting skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 80%, across Saudi Arabia and internationally.
• Flexibility to work demanding outage schedules and shifts.

Nice to have

• Exposure to steam turbines, gas turbines, generators, outage execution, and industrial energy projects.
• Familiarity with hirify.global standards.
