Pre-Sales Solution Architect for Finance

Location: Staines-upon-Thames, England, United Kingdom; hybrid work opportunities are available, with national and international travel as required.

What you will do

• Lead finance-focused discovery workshops, customer meetings, demonstrations, and executive presentations.
• Translate challenges involving financial close, reporting, compliance, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and operational efficiency into solution narratives.
• Design demonstration scenarios, proof points, presentations, RFIs, RFPs, proposals, and customer-facing documentation.
• Show how finance processes connect with asset management, service, maintenance, supply chain, manufacturing, projects, and human resources.
• Explain the value of Industrial AI, automation, and intelligent workflows for decision-making, productivity, forecasting, and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Presales, Consulting, and subject-matter experts while capturing customer feedback and market insight.

Requirements

• University degree, ACCA qualification, equivalent professional qualification, or relevant professional experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, FP&A, finance operations, consulting, business systems, or solution consulting.
• Practical knowledge of financial management processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Project Accounting, and Financial Reporting.
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience leading customer-facing discovery engagements, workshops, demonstrations, and executive presentations, with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English and a full UK driving licence are required.
