Head of Enterprise Platforms & Applications (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Den Bosch, the Netherlands; hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. Remote work from other countries is not possible. Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the Netherlands; visa and residence permits are not provided.

What you will do

• Own the strategy, roadmap, governance, and operational performance of the enterprise application landscape.
• Lead SAP S/4HANA strategy, upgrades, release planning, Clean Core governance, Fiori adoption, integrations, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee PLM, WMS, supply planning, integration, automation, and other business-critical platforms.
• Govern development, test, acceptance, and production environments, including landscape refreshes and production-data replication.
• Transform functional support teams into product-oriented Agile and DevOps teams with clear ownership of products, backlogs, and outcomes.
• Partner with business, architecture, security, infrastructure, and process stakeholders to improve delivery speed, reliability, and measurable business value.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive experience leading enterprise applications, ERP landscapes, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA environments, upgrades, modernization programs, and Clean Core governance.
• Experience with PLM, WMS, supply planning, integrations, and broader enterprise platforms.
• Proven success with Agile, DevOps, product-led operating models, team leadership, and external partner management.
• Existing legal right to work in the Netherlands is required; visa or residence permit sponsorship is not available.
