Role

Senior AWS Data Engineer to design and maintain data pipelines and cloud data platforms for enterprise lab informatics. Focus on ETL/ingestion, AWS infrastructure, and support for AI/ML and RAG initiatives on corporate data.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue and Lambda
• Orchestrate workflows via Step Functions; implement event-driven pipelines
• Support CI/CD (GitHub Actions/Jenkins) and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• Monitor and log pipeline execution (CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
• Contribute to RAG/Agentic Workflows for LLMs; ensure data validation, PII detection, and compliance

Requirements

• 8–10 years in Data Engineering / Data Lake development
• Strong AWS data engineering experience (Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena, RDS, IAM, VPC, EC2, CloudWatch, CloudTrail)
• Python + PySpark; hands-on ETL with AWS Glue; S3-based data lake patterns
• PostgreSQL, Apache Iceberg, Parquet; data modeling for relational DBs
• CI/CD (GitHub Actions), IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation)
• Solid understanding of RAG/Agentic Workflows, data validation, PII and compliance controls
