What you will do
- Prepare and compile federal documents for the discharge of foreign cargo at domestic ports.
- Coordinate customs clearance and monitor customs broker procedures and reports.
- Serve as a contact point for existing and new customers.
- Enter and verify system and documentation data with the Coordinator/Documentation function.
- Prepare invoices, check costs, present billing information, and close completed jobs.
- Support customer meetings and help resolve communication or cooperation issues.
Requirements
- Ability to work with customs clearance documentation and procedures.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and customer-specific requirements accurately.
- Ability to check operational data, reports, invoices, and costs.
- Ability to coordinate with customers, customs brokers, and transportation providers.
- Ability to complete additional duties assigned by the team leader.
