Agent/Lead Agent - Customs Brokerage

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

What you will do

• Prepare and declare customs entries for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Support customs filing, physical inspections, and customs liquidation at terminals when required.
• Monitor operational metrics, customer KPIs, SOP compliance, service quality, and reporting.
• Review customs declarations and advise customers on licensing, classification, valuation, and duty minimization.
• Represent the local brokerage operation in communications with Vietnamese Customs Authorities and respond to official inquiries.
• Mentor team members, support business transitions, coordinate billing and accounting tasks, and develop customer opportunities.

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent qualification.
• Experience and knowledge in foreign trade and customs clearance.
• Good English skills in listening, reading, writing, and speaking, including the ability to understand cargo-related documents.
• Good PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Customer service, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a team under pressure and meet tight deadlines; willingness to work overtime when required.

Nice to have

• Certified customs brokerage agent qualification.
