Senior Security Architect (Cloud Security)

Location: Chennai, India (flexible); international travel across the APAC region may be required.

What you will do

• Lead customer-facing security discussions with customers, prospects, partners, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide technical consulting that maps hirify.global Cloud security capabilities and controls to customer security, regulatory, and risk requirements.
• Develop, validate, and present evidence covering identity and access management, encryption, key management, network security, logging, monitoring, incident response, application security, AI security, and secure software development.
• Deliver technical deep dives, security workshops, webinars, conferences, and executive briefings for technical and senior leadership audiences.
• Own complex customer security, privacy, compliance, and contractual security matters.
• Represent hirify.global at strategic customer engagements, partner events, and industry forums across APAC.

Requirements

• Expert-level experience designing, implementing, assessing, or defending security architectures and controls for enterprise cloud or SaaS platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS security, cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and DevSecOps.
• Expertise in vulnerability management and application security, including penetration testing, secure SDLC, CI/CD security, SAST, DAST, SCA, container security, Infrastructure as Code security, remediation, and risk prioritization.
• Experience with generative AI, large language models, AI governance, AI risk management, and emerging AI security threats.
• Experience interpreting and defending technical security evidence, architecture diagrams, policies, penetration testing results, and other security artifacts.
• Professional fluency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies.
• Experience securing microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Experience with security automation, detection engineering, or modern Security Operations.
• Conference, webinar, customer event, or technical forum speaking experience.
• AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent certification.
• Experience supporting regulated industries or fluency in Japanese or Korean.
