Cloud Cybersecurity Architect (Azure)

What you will do

• Design and evolve secure cloud architecture patterns across Azure and other cloud platforms, including IaaS, PaaS, containers, APIs, and serverless services.
• Define cloud security reference architectures, landing zones, identity integrations, network segmentation, monitoring, logging, and data protection controls.
• Perform security architecture reviews for cloud initiatives, third-party integrations, and major platform changes.
• Document architecture decisions, risks, approved deviations, remediation plans, and control gaps.
• Guide identity, access, secrets management, encryption, authentication, and cloud-native security services.
• Partner with application, platform, DevSecOps, engineering, operations, and business teams on threat modeling and risk-based decisions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in cloud security architecture with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure.
• Background in information security, architecture, or IT risk management in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management, cryptography, authentication and authorization, network security, logging and monitoring, and data protection.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under applicable ITAR requirements.
• Ability to assess architectural risk, document recommendations, and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
