Information Security Analyst – Cybersecurity Projects

Location: Hybrid work in Lisbon or Porto, Portugal; candidates must already have the legal right to work in the European Union

Work with a client organization focused on advancing cybersecurity measures and protecting digital assets.

What you will do

• Support the implementation and management of information security projects.
• Conduct risk analyses and vulnerability assessments to identify security gaps.
• Contribute to ISO 27001 and other cybersecurity certification processes.
• Monitor compliance with data protection laws and relevant regulations.
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures with cross-functional teams.
• Track cybersecurity and data protection trends and regulatory changes.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in information security or cybersecurity projects.
• Education in cybersecurity or information security.
• Understanding of ISO 27001, cybersecurity maturity models, or similar certification processes.
• Experience with risk analysis methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of data protection legislation and information security regulations.
• Fluent Portuguese and existing legal right to work in the European Union are required.

Nice to have

• ISO 27001 or related cybersecurity certification.
• Experience working in medium or large organizations.
