IT Internal Control Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; hybrid working model combining onsite and offsite work.

What you will do

• Assess hirify.global IT systems and processes in relation to IT General Controls (ITGC).
• Analyse technological requirements and advise IT managers, platform owners, and business teams on suitable solutions.
• Identify security risks and develop mitigation strategies, including cybersecurity measures.
• Optimise IT systems and infrastructure to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance performance.
• Coordinate corrective actions resulting from ITGC deployment and provide ongoing support and guidance.
• Document IT systems and procedures, create SOPs, and build relationships with technology partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as an IT consultant, preferably in a technology-based firm.
• Initial experience with IT General Controls and IT Audit.
• Strong knowledge of networks, servers, software, programming languages, database management software, and operating systems.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and data protection.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
